I must say, the team of 8 young explorers and I had the most sensational experience when we recently engaged Colin Johnson’s ‘Wye Not Adventure’ for an exhilarating day of Gorge Walking in the ever-beautiful South Wales area.

Right from the outset, Colin’s passion for adventure and commitment to safety shone through. He displayed exceptional guidance throughout the entire journey. His depth of knowledge in the field was evident, not only in his expert tuition but also in how he tailored the day’s activities to suit the varying levels of ability and adventurous spirit within our group.

Each step of our adventure was planned meticulously, from the briefings to the execution of each activity. There was never a moment of uncertainty as Colin anticipated our needs, ensuring we had an array of testing conditions to challenge our physical and mental endurance, all while maintaining the utmost regard for our safety.

But the adventure did not stop at the challenging terrains. Colin made sure that we explored our limits, with the perfect blend of physical exertion and mental stimulation. We were continually tested, pushed to our limits, yet always felt secure under Colin’s watchful eye. This balance of thrill and safety is a testament to Colin’s profound expertise in the field.

Colin’s sense of humour, coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, made the day an incredibly fun and exciting one. Even in the face of challenges, there was no shortage of laughter and camaraderie.

The true essence of adventure, after all, lies in the experiences and memories we make, and I must say, the memories we’ve forged during this day with Wye Not Adventure will linger with us for many years to come. The stunning views, the shared struggles and victories, the laughter and the breathless moments of awe – these are the experiences that truly shape us and remain etched in our hearts and minds.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Wye Not Adventure and the brilliant Colin Johnson highly enough. If you’re looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience filled with thrills, laughter, and expert guidance, look no further. This adventure has only made us eager for more, and it won’t be long before we return to Colin and his team for our next round of adrenaline-pumping escapades. Wye Not, indeed!

Having mixed outdoor experiences and fitness abilities, myself and 8 good friends were looking for a unique challenge/activity to do. I got recommended by a relative to contact Colin directly to enquire about Gorge walking, this was not an activity in which all of the group had knowledge or experience in. Colin was more than happy to discuss what it was all about, as well as the services that he offers. We soon scheduled together a date and Colin sorted the rest! We travelled to South Wales for this experience, it was both challenging and extremely fun. We manoeuvred ourselves down a steady flowing river, climbing waterfalls and jumping off large rocks or small cliffs, among other things. Colin set us many fun challenges along the way which made the experience so unique. We felt safe the whole time due to the safety equipment we wore and the belief we had in Colin’s ability as an instructor, as he passed on much of his wisdom and experiences with us using a charismatic approach. We really did have a fantastic day. Big thanks to Colin. Would highly recommend and we are already planning on returning soon.
