'Wye' not extend your trip at the Wye Valley, and explore the wondrous places that is at your footstep. With fun days out, traditional village pubs, coffee shops and so much more, you'll be spoiled for choice.
Adventurous activities by their very nature can be both physically and mentally demanding and involves walking along/over rough, wet, rocky, steep and/or uneven ground. To book with us, you will be asked to read and agree to the full terms & conditions.
They would normally last from half a day either am or pm to a whole day.
We also offer more in depth Navigation Courses, which are 2-3 days.
You will need to make sure that you have clothing and footwear that is suitable for spending most of the day outdoors. Thinking about the unpredictability of the weather. Waterproof jacket, warm cloths, shorts are not recommended for climbing. You could be walking over wet, steep, muddy and rocky ground so your footwear needs to be up for this task
Most medical conditions will be fine but some will impact on your or others safety. Please refer to the consent form given upon your booking being confirmed and if in doubt refer to your Doctor for advice
No. However, let the instructor know if you can’t. Most of the gorges that we use you will be using a Buoyancy Aid which will keep you afloat anyway
Due to insurance purposes the minimum age for the activities is 10 years old. For the River Mellte gorge walking it is 12 years old
If they are under 18 then they will need to have their parent or legally appointed guardian present on the activity taking part or closer enough to do so. Again this is for insurance purposes and Activity Licensing restrictions
